Bugaboo Tutorial - Z Fold with a Twist

Good Morning.  It's tutorial time at Bugaboo Stamps and it's my turn to host.  I'm excited because I have finally sat down and created the tutorial for the Z-Fold with a twist card that I made so long ago.

I used the super adorable Sewing Bears - Thread on the front of my card.  I know, I looks like a regular Z-fold card, but there is a surprise twist there for you - keep looking.

See the twist?  Isn't that cool?!!  I thought so.  If you're like me there is never enough writing space on cards so here is a way to add some added space or you could create a pocket back here and include a gift card or cash.  See?!!

So here's what you need to do to create the card.

1 - Start with an 8 x 11 piece of card-stock.

2 - Score on the 8 inch side at 4 inches.

3 - On the 11 inch side score at 2.75 & 5.5

4 - Cut off the two right smaller pieces.

5 - Now fold on your score lines and decorate.

I'm visual so here's a couple of photos to illustrate what I am talking about.

These photos represent the steps 1 thru 4.  (I added pencil lines so you could see the score marks, you don't need to mark anything when you make yours.)

These photos represent how you will fold everything.

I hope this helps and you'll give it a try.  I would love to see what you do with this, so please add your link to the comments section.  I want to see!!!!

Take care.

Gardening Nut

OMG - I am so late with this one.  I made a card for Nut day, which was last week.  Yeah, I'm late.  But I wanted to share anyway because I love how this little card came out.  I found another use for some of the punches and dies I have in my stash and that is always a good thing.

The image is from Bugaboo Stamps, Gardening Nut.  She is adorable.

Check out the Bugaboo Store, there's some really cute digis there.

Coffee Can Organizer

Hello.  I've had a very productive day today.  I finally finished up my coffee can organizer.  I got the idea after seeing a pattern for sale on Pinterest.  I swear I lose a lot of time on Pinterest, I'm hooked!

Anyway, I didn't buy the pattern but decided to give it a try myself and I'm pleased with how it turned out.  My next one will look more tailored but for my first one...I'm pleased.

If you'd like to take a look at the pattern, it's by Flower Girl Design.

Take care.

Hello - Still here, busy sewing

Hello!  I'm still around.  I'm trying to get back into the swing of things once again.  I've been busy sewing.  There are so many things I want to make and do and just no time for everything.  So I've come to day to show off a project I completed for my daughter.

I made her top.  It's  peasant blouse without the elastic in the arms.  She didn't want the elastic.

I followed a couple tutorials to make the blouse.  These tutorials are for kids but the How to steps are the same for adults. (Adult Peasant Blouse)

Take care.
