Happy Memorial day

Today has been a lovely Memorial Day. I want to thank the men and women in uniform for their service to our country. THANK YOU!

We just returned from a cook out. Fun times, fun friends and Great food. I'm tired now.
But first...Here is a card I finished earlier today. The image is a freebie from Back 2 Paper. Lida has started a free digi club and it's wonderful so you will see more of her cute images from me. You can sign up on her blog. She has also opened a new on-line store. Cute, cute, cute. You have got to check it out.

Take care. I'm going to lay down.

I am Ready for Some Summer Fun

It feels so much like summer here in FL. 90 Degree weather for the past couple of weeks - it's HOT and I am getting lazy. School is almost over and my daughter is counting down the days, but I have been behaving like it's summer break for me! LOL! No such luck.

This week's
Designed 2 Delight image was called Summer Days. This was such a sweet image to play with.

This is a close up. I have been playing with chalk again. The sky and the grass is chalks.

Take Care.

I'm a Special Lady Too

It was digi day at the Latte Lounge this past weekend and one of the challenges was to create a card/project you would like to receive. We crafters are always making things to give away so this was a welcome change.

I made this tote. I would love to receive a little tote with pictures, money, gift cards - ANYTHING, tucked inside. Wouldn't you?
The image is from the Stamping Boutique.

I found this Basic Grey paper in my stash. I think I am in love. I have no idea where I got it from, but the colors were wonderful!

Beautiful Flowers

Hi all. I have been on a roll lately. Just finished up some projects today that are just lovely.

This card uses a simple flower from Tiffany Doodles. I tried my hand at CAS (Clean and Simple). I love how this came out. Of course I was too late to enter it in Tiffany's challenge. I miss deadlines a lot around here.
The sentiment is from TLC Creations.

Speaking of flowers I have some wonderful photos to share of "Bugsy's Flowers". Last spring we lost our cat friend Bugsy and the day we lost him, we came home to these beautiful wild flowers in our yard.

Those flowers arrived again this year around the same time, so Cee has named them "Bugsy's Flowers". She had to get pictures of them, so she took these photos and she did an awesome job.

Take Care.

Hello. Today I want to share some cards I made from the Fresh Brewed Designs card kit. This was the first kit offered at FBD and I wanted to play along. Heather released some new designs in rubber and they were a part of the kit. I haven't inked up any stamps in a long time. This was a wonderful break from digis.
