OPen House at the Crafter's Cafe

Hi everyone, I am finally back in town and trying to settle down. The dogs are so happy to be back home. Houston is exhausted.
See what I mean? Anyway, this week has been Open House at the Crafter's Cafe. There's fun games and challenges and of course prizes to be won. Be sure to check out the happening, the sponsors have been generous with the prizes.

I wanted to share a gift set I made as a sample. I found a large sized gable box template and it worked out wonderful. I enclosed a bath toiletry set and gave it as a gift.

The image is from The Stamping Boutique. All digis are 35% off right now, hurry over. The sentiments are from TLC Creations.

Take care, I'm going to have a bubble bath myself.

Happy day after Christmas!

Has everyone recovered yet from Christmas. I have to admit, I got in the bed so early Christmas night. Playing Santa and getting everything ready and cooking is exhausting! But we had a lovely day. I had a wonderful birthday and the girl was over the moon with her presents.

Just stopping in today to share a wonderful card with a beautiful angel from Sweet Stamping Treats. I loved this little image and of course TLC Creations had the perfect sentiment to compliment it.

Freebie alert - Sweet Stamping Treats has a freebie on the blog for New Years. Go check it out and leave the DT some love too.

Take care.

Wrapping up the Holidays

I wish I were wrapping up the holidays. I'm still busy this week and about to get busier. I haven't wrapped a thing yet and I still need to make photo card holders for the annual Christmas picture.

I wanted to share a gift bag I did this week for The Stamping Boutique. I hope you are a follower at the blog because this past Wednesday all the Smoochies were on sale for just a dollar! If you haven't seen the new line called Smoochies, look here.

Anyway, my project does not use a Smoochie but an adorable snowman. This was a gift for my daughter's teacher.

Ok, off to finish some other things.

Take care.

Well maybe not the best gift ever, but definitely one I would LOVE to receive. Hello everyone. My countdown to Christmas has begun. Now the mad rush really kicks in gear. I don't even have the tree up yet.

I made a little gift set for my coffee loving friend. This set uses images from Deedee's Creations. The coffee's were in the Target dollar spot.

I love this little set and I definitely love the coffees.

Wrap it Up!

Hello. It's new release day at Paper Pretties. We have to cute new releases today. I used the new image, Wrapped Up Rudolph, to complete my card today. This was too cute and looks like me when I've tried to wrap gifts. LOL! That's really sad that a paper crafter has a terrible time using gift wrap but it's true. My gift wrapping skills are horrible.

Along with the new release there is a challenge. We want to see your projects using ribbon. Be sure to stop by the blog and see the DT projects and enter the challenge.

Take care.

I survived!

Good evening everyone! Well I survived the weekend without my daughter, but I have to admit I was lonely. She on the other hand had a great time camping with her troop and sleeping outdoors. I'm glad they had good weather for the camp out.

I got a lot done this weekend, including some sewing projects for Christmas. They're not finished yet so I'll have to wait on the pictures. Today's project share was created for the greeting card challenge at the Outlawz. The challenge was to make Tall Cards. I think I did pretty good. But this challenge worked my creativity. How do you fill such a tall skinny space?

My image is from Deedee's Creations (now closed). I love her work.

I have a couple more projects to share from the weekend but I think I'll wait for another day.

Take care.

Long week...Busy week

Hello. It's been one of those weeks and it's not over yet. The Girl is going camping for the first time with her girl scout troop. On top of all the craziness, now I am a nervous wreck because I am not going. Me sleep outdoors? NO WAY! Just pray I don't go get her early.

Anyway, today I am sharing a card with a Stamping Boutique image. I love this little image, but I couldn't settle on a sentiment.

This is so my daughter. She used to push her baby in the stroller everywhere! I always get reminiscent around her birthday. Her birthday was last week so alot of things are taking me back to when she was younger. I hope I am not the only parent like that. LOL.

Take care.
