Last of the Seasonal Cards

These were our last two seasonal cards made this year. I think we are finished and if we missed anyone, they'll just get general greeting cards. I'm tired. These cards use Bugaboo images. Aren't they sweet. Sierra really enjoyed making cards with me this year. She was so excited to see her coloring on the front of the cards.

Coffee with Fresh Brewed Designs

Here is a little gift set I gave to my aunt this month. Her birthday was in December. I used the daisy coffee mug from Fresh Brewed Designs to create my card. I so wanted to keep the coffee for myself. I'm sure my aunt will make me a cup when I come to visit.

Guess what? I was featured on the Fresh Brewed Designs blog because of this card. I'm so happy. Thanks Heather.

A Day for Daisies

Hi everyone. I have a card to share today. I made this card using A Day for Daisies image. I thought my mother would love these vintage images and it was my intention to make a set of cards for her and present them in one of those tote purses. So far I've only made two cards. Oh well, maybe next year.

For this card I used a slider from Paulette's shop - TLC Creations. You can't tell from the picture but the slider is hanging on the string of peals like a necklace. It moves when you move the card.

I made the TLC Design Team!

I am so excited, I can hardly stand it! I made the TLC design team. I love Paulette's work because she always has the perfect sentiment to go with any image you can imagine.

If you have never been to her store, you should. There is ALWAYS something good there to see and get. Her blog is very active as well and you will definitely get a lot of wonderful ideas there. I can't wait to get started with Paulette and the design team!

Holiday Crafting

Good Morning. This morning I wanted to share some cards my daughter and I made on Christmas. Yes, we were crafting even on Christmas day. LOL! It was just the two of us this year and we did exactly what we wanted to do that included making some cards. It was wonderful and I enjoyed myself. Not having to travel and be out on the holiday and just doing what we wanted to do. That's what the holidays are about.

Happy Birthday JESUS and ME!

Merry Christmas everyone and happy birthday to JESUS. I share a birthday with Christ, as today is my birthday as well.

I am making Christmas dinner, taking pictures of my daughter opening gifts and trying to get some moments of rest. (yeah, that's not happening) But I enjoy every moment of it.

We took Christmas photos this year - YAY! On time this time...but I still haven't mailed any out. Sorry. They're coming.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day today. I sure will.

It's boy!

Christmas is such a wonderful time of the year. I look forward to celebrating the birth of Christ with my friends and family. This year, Christmas time is even more special. We've had a very blessed event in our family to take place. My youngest brother and his wife had a baby boy on Friday. (My first nephew!) Xavier Marquis is our newest addition to the family and I am so excited. So for this event I've made a clean and simple welcome card to send. Deedee's digi's had the perfect set called, It's a Boy! The sentiment is from the Sweet Blessings digi set.

Xavier weighed a whooping 11 lbs. Momma and Baby are doing wonderful and should be coming home today.

That's Auntie's baby! I can't wait to kiss those cheeks.

The countdown has begun

My daughter has started her countdown to Christmas. Of course she's only counting down because curiosity is getting the best of her now. She is dying to know what she is getting for Christmas. I even caught her trying to get into my closet to take a peek. LOL!

I am still working on packaging. I don't like wrapping things (it looks so messy when I do it) So gift bags are the way to go. This year I am really dressing them up with digis. If I had more time I might have even pulled out those long forgotten rubber stamps. That's a little too ambitious right now.

This week's Stretch N Bubbles image was a swirly Christmas tree. I put it on a gift bag. I really like these non-traditional colors.

Challenges entered:
The Artistic Stamper - Christmas
Penny's Challenge - Christmas
Stampavie and More - Christmas

Stamp Something - Use a digi

Allsorts - Last Minute Christmas

A Break from Christmas Cards

I took a short break from making Christmas cards today. This is an image that has been sitting on my desk staring at me, so I decided to do something with it.

This image is from Deedee's Digis -
Little Things collection. I used only scraps to create my card.

Christmas Packaging

Hello! It's been very busy here in my household, how about you? Christmas is really rushing forward and I feel like I have not even begun to get done all that I need or want to. I still have some photo holders I need to get made and of course we still need to take the Christmas photo. Yeah, we may not make that deadline, so Christmas photos after the holidays (again).

This week's Stretch N Bubbles image was an abstract Nativity image. I think it colored up wonderfully. My mother will certainly love getting this little pillow box with a GC tucked inside.

City Crafter - Blue Christmas

Top Tip Tuesday - Anything Goes

December is for Birthdays

Hello everyone!

It's December already and time is moving so quickly as we all get busy for the holiday season. I've had to take a break from making my Christmas cards for a moment because December is the month of birthdays in my family. Today is a very special birthday to me because it's my daughter's birthday. She is 8 today! WOW, time sure does fly. It seems not too long ago she was learning to walk or learning to talk. I remember thinking..I can't wait until you can do things for yourself. Now I wish she would allow me to do things for her. She is little Miss Independent and I am longing for the days when she wanted my help.

For her birthday card I used the Beary Happy Birthday image from Deedee's Digis. I think she's going to love her card.

Well I have 7 more birthday cards to get done, so I'd better get moving.

Have a blessed day.

Challenge entered:
Fab N Funky - Happy Birthdays
Just Cute Bears - Winter Birthday
