SNB Christmas

Hi all. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We did enjoy our time with family. I also enjoyed the Black Friday shopping. LOL! Where we went they have Hobby Lobby, all I can say is I think I went a little crazy in that store.

I have a card to share tonight using the Stretch N Bubbles freebie for this week.

Penguins for Christmas

Hi All and Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are enjoying your Thanksgiving day with friends and family. I know I am.

Just a quick post, I wanted to share this year's teacher Christmas gift. Yep, I get the teacher a Christmas gift. Usually because I forget on Teacher Appreciation Day, so she can't say she didn't get anything from me (not that she would say that). LOL!

Once again Deedee had the perfect image in her store for this set. I bought the penguin hand soap dispenser at my favorite store (Bath & Body Works). Deedee's digi set called "
Merry and Bright" was perfect to make the matching card for this gift. I think I'm going to add a gift tag to the dispenser as well.

Altered DVD Box

Hi! I found this great little DVD box at the dollar store and decided it needed some dressing up. So for this week's Designed 2 Delight challenge I use the cute little penguin to dress up the box. This is one project I didn't share with my daughter as the box is for her and will contain a new Wii game for Christmas. She's going to love it!

Getting ready for Christmas

Ok, I am so in the mood for Christmas to get here. Things started really early this year. Like stores had new Christmas stuff out right after Halloween. They almost skipped Thanksgiving all together!

This week's
Stretch N Bubbles image was another cute little reindeer. I made a tag to go onto a present. Don't know who's present yet but I'm getting everything ready.

CHRISTMAS is Coming!

I am in a panic every year at this time. Thanksgiving is just next week and it's a never ending battle from there. I lose time around this time of year because there is soooooooooo much to get done and not enough time to do all that I want. I have a handful of Christmas cards made and a long list of folks I try to reach out to, now that the year is coming to a close; throw in all the birthdays that are coming (including my own) and I am sunk!

So this weekend I made a couple more Christmas cards. These cards use the
"Beauty of the Season" and "Christmas Scripture" from Deedee's digis.

Deedee's Digi's presents 'Tis Better to Give Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the 'Tis Better to Give Blog Hop with Deedee's digis. If this is your first stop on the hop, be sure to visit the Crafting with Deedee's Digis blog, where you will find the directions for the hop, a chance to win the grand prize of a $15 credit to our store, AND a little gift for you! If you have been following the hop, you should have arrived from Kelly's blog.

It's holiday season and gift giving season. The design team has created some fabulous gift projects to show you to make your gift giving a little less stress free. These are great ideas for teachers, neighbors, friends and family. Join us today on our blog hop as we show you why "'tis better to give".

For my project, I used the So Many Pies digi set. What a cute digi set for those homemade pies and pastries.

I found these cute little pie shaped and scented candles at Michael's and Deedee had the perfect image to create this adorable gift set for a neighbor. For the box I used the directions for a nugget box and just modified the size to fit the candles.

Before you leave, please be sure to leave me a comment in order to be entered to win a free digi of your choice from the Deedee's Digis store! You have until 12 noon Eastern Time on Sunday to comment. All winners will be announced on Monday at Crafting with Deedee's Digis -- be sure to check back then to see if you've won. Thanks so much for joining us today, and happy holidays to you!

Next, you are off to visit Melissa.

Hello everyone. This week's Stretch N Bubbles challenge image reminds me of a beautiful winter sky. I used to love being outside right after it snowed. Everything was quiet and pretty and sparkly. I guess there are things about winter I do miss, but I'm sure don't miss having to dig my car out. I sympathize with those who still have to do that. Handmade Holiday

This holiday season my family and I are celebrating with handmade gifts. All of us are crafters of some sort, so this was nice to be able to do what you enjoy doing anyway. With handmade gifts you have an opportunity to really express your love and thankfulness for the people in your lives. Only love could go into something you made with your own hands.

I want to share with you one of the gifts I intend to share this holiday season. I took an inexpensive oversized post it note pad (5x5 - in the $ Spot at Michael's) and created the perfect item to have in your purse or tote, for those times when you just need a piece of paper.

I've used Deedee's sweet little bear image and sentiment from the Just Chillin' set. Be sure to stop by the store. Deedee has just the sweetest images available and while you're there pick out some of the Fall digis. They're on sale for $1 for the month of November.

AI Factory Challenge

Hello everyone. It's challenge time over at the AI Factory blog. This week we want to see your punches and/or die cuts. You can use either one on your project or both.

This challenge was easy for me. In case you didn't know I am addicted to punches. I have so many punches and now I am addicted to Martha Stewart punches. They're just so expensive!

Here is my project with my punches. This is a gift card holder. I got the idea when I saw a package of gift card holders in the dollar store. They were so plain.

Supplies: PP - Anna Griffin; Image - AI Factory; Sentiment - Bizzy Bec's; Gems - Bead Party & Darice; Punches - Marvy Uchida, The Paper Studio, EK Success, Martha Stewart

Now head on over to the challenge blog and link up your project using punches. I want to come visit and OOH and AAH. LOL!

I almost forgot; if you want to play with an AI Factory image be sure to check out the store and the
freebie section.

Here's my punches and this is not all, these just sit by my craft space. There are others still in containers.
